    Sorry, but I think my vote made it into a tie again! Honestly, I think if you’ve got the room to write “reception to follow” you might as well. That way it would link the invitation and the reception card together, and there will be no confusion if a reception card is missed while stuffing envelopes or something like that.

    If they are in separate place, I don’t think you need to reception to follow. I’ve really only seen that used when they are in the same place and there’s no reception card.

    I was going to say no too but autumnvee brings up a good point!  And you have room for it, so I would include it if I were in your situation. Less chance for confusion the better, imo!

    edit: I just read up on etiquette and technically it is incorrect to write “Reception to follow” if the reception is at a different location (because well, ppl will have to drive and that phrase assumes the reception immediately follows?).  So going on etiquette, having a separate reception card means you do not need to include the phrase on the invite.
