So, what is it?
So, what is it?
I asked this question before. Just a smaller table for just you and Fiance to sit at for dinner. Seperated from your wedding party. I think it’s rather romantic.
it is a small table for just you and your new hubby to sit at during dinner. its usally an alternative to a head table so you get alone time and your bridal party gets to sit with their dates.
It is when at the reception, instead of having a huge table that seats all of your wedding party the bride and groom have their own table. They usually do it with like a crescent shaped table or something that you two would sit at. Then your wedding party would be at regular tables but still seated together and next to you guys. We’re doing that – we liked the idea of not having to be put up on risers with a huge head table and plus it was easier for the wedding party to be able to sit with their guests at the regular types of tables.
yeppers..alternative to the long “head tables” that seat the Bride/Groom and whole bridal party. A sweetheart table is just you and your Fiance..the bridal party sits at another table (usually near the sweetheart table) or scattered at the other tables among the guests.
Fiance and i are doing the sweetheart table 🙂
A special, small table for just you and your then-husband at the reception! Your wedding party can still have designated table(s) near yours.
Two benefits: 1) You get some personal time with your husband during the dinner. and 2) Your wedding party can be seated with their dates/significant others!!! Everyone is happy. 🙂
Wendy…what a gorgeous photo! I now want MY sweetheart table to look like that!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
