Do you have your last pay stub? Isn’t all of the info about taxes typically on those? I assume this is for deductions, not actually paying taxes, right?

you won’t get it by april?… just file for an extension and you’ll have until 10/15 to file!

It is my understanding that you can file any time you want. If you don’t owe money, then there would be no penalty. Do you owe? If you do, I think you would pay interest on that amount for filing late. My Fiance is an accountant and I think that’s how it works. We’re in Canada though… so I guess it might work differently here!

Ummmm, isn’t it illegal to NOT provide a W2 by a certain time frame? I don’t remember where I heard that, but I’m pretty sure he can be royally screwed if he doesn’t by a certain time? Maybe ask a tax advisor?

Gosh, I thought there was a law stating that your company HAD to mail our your W-2 by the end of January.  I’m not a professional, though, so don’t quote me on that!
