Yep definitely the lace one. I’m not sure what your BMs meant by it being too busy, as I think it’s quite simple and the ribbon one looks much more ‘busy’ to me with the way it falls!

I love the second one! It makes the look more cohesive!

Much prefer the lace veil to the other one. I sort of get what the girls were saying by it being too busy because of the necklace being quite bold and the lace trim is also quite bold, if that makes sense. Just wondering would you consider a veil with no trim?

harleybeachbride6 :  The second veil is more flattering for the style of your dress and your body type. For one thing, there is lace on your dress and lace on the second veil. This makes them look like a better match than the one with the ribbon trim. Also, (I am trying to be very objective so please do not take offense), the ribbon trimmed veil hits you near your bustline and then cascades outward over your arms. Since you have a larger bust this draws attention to one of the broader parts of your body, and the way it falls over your arms makes you appear a bit wider than you are. The lace veil hits you lower, closer to your waist. Your waist is much smaller than your bust, so this makes you appear slimmer. It draws attention to the smallest part of your figure instead of to the largest part.

Cred: I worked in high end fashion retail (in NYC) for years.

harleybeachbride6 :  It’s a lovely veil but it does make you look a bit broader in the bust/shoulders. I think you’ll feel perfect with the lace veil 🙂
