lawyers should not take that quiz… the “it depends” instinct has ruined me for all multiple choice questions.  (i would so rock being a bridal consultant, quiz or not!)

I got an 18…and I think if I’d taken this before wedding planning, it would have been about a 5.

Also, I totally disagree that fair skinned people look bad in ivory! I’m a pasty Irish girl, and nothing but ivory looked good on me. The white dresses made me look like a ghost.

The other day at work I so felt like a bridal consultant, which is odd since I work in home theater. But I played a high-end surround sound system for a customer, and she wasn’t loving it. I asked her why, and when she told me I said, “Alright, well there are plenty more to see, let’s try something else.” Then played something else based on her feeback and she loved it!

My customer after that wanted to hear a really expensive set but had said she didn’t want to spend a lot of money, and I was like, “Are you sure? You might really love it, that’s kind of like trying on a wedding dress you can’t afford!” She cracked up and told me I must also watch SYTTD. Haha!

I got an 18 – guess I had more fitings than average, and I disagree that ivory looks bad on fair skinned girls.

Is there a “go ask Randy” button for them all?

I got a 16. Though, did they show a score sheet? I’m assuming a 16 or higher means we could be a consultant? I didn’t see any scoring methodology.

@maudemaisha: haha, I’m not engaged either but I think I watched enough episodes of SYTTD that I was able to do so well!

@Aure: ME TOO! I’ve got blue shoes, and while I’m blonde, my skin has some pinkish tones. It did not look good.

Plus, “diamond white” is basically light ivory.

I got 12. I probably shouldn’t. lol. I think I’d get pretty angry at some of the brides/families on that show!

I got a 12. Brides spend 12-15% of their budget on a dress??? I spent 5%!

nope.  Don’t even have to take the quiz.  I’d be fired as soon as I told an opinionated mother or Maid/Matron of Honor to shut up.
