I get several emails in my inbox a day to inquire about my Quorri stone. When I first received it, I was in love with it… well, it was brand new. Didn’t stay that way for very long, I even emailed them and they just told me I need it professionally cleaned. Um, every day? Even my husband was like “your ring looks cloudy and cheap”.
To begin with… I ordered a set from them. Hubby proposed with a diamond but I had ethical issues with it, so when we went the alternative route, I decided to go with Quorri. He was excited, took the tags off and basically reproposed to me. I did not like the ring in person at all, it was just not me. They would not do a refund because the tags were off. They said they would only do an exchange. I actually begged and begged and said this was a mistake, and they refused to budge, so begrudgingly I ordered another ring. To top it off, they said they were within a month of releasing their DiamondX but because of my issues they could have me pay extra (it’s like Asha, or supposed to be) and so I did. The branding did not come out until SIX MONTHS after I supposedly got my coating upgrade, and the paperwork did not say anything about a DiamondX upgrade… still said Sitaragem. I think combined we paid like $1,400 for this piece of garbage. Even more suspicious is that I asked something about my that I thought I wanted changed, but they said it was already being made. But then offered to do the upgrade?
I went to BTD and here to show off my ring when it was brand new. Quorri sent me a complimentary gift of earrings. Now I’m wondering if it’s because I put the word out, or they felt bad for gypping the shit out of me.
As for my Moissanite… stunning, incomparable. We went with wed509 1.25 center w/FB enhancement. It looks amazing. Anyone that’s hesitant on FB upgrade — don’t be. I didn’t want to wait for the gem, because I wanted more of the original aspects of the space rock (long family history) and IDGAF if it looks like a diamond or not.
Excuse my fingers, I have bad anxiety and chew on them a lot. Princess cut is Quorri (oh also notice the missing stone that was supposedly covered under their “great warranty which turned out was me paying to ship it to them to repair, or them shipping me the stone to have it set, and that’s when I was like f this, we’re going Moissanite.)
Moissanite was even so up front with me, they admitted they casted my matching band wrong. And instead of shipping it with the engagement ring, they admitted the mistake and said the bad would ship separately. I even told them that my ring was a tad big — but that I can get it resized anywhere, but they would resize the band for me before shipping it to me (it’s a whopping 1/2 size — and I think most of the sizing issue has to do with the fact that it’s FREEZING IN MICHIGNA). Without further ado… pix
