So my fiance’ is at work until 2a.m (he is the store manager at a store that is hosting a New Moon party…he is NOT thrilled hehe) and so I am bored around on a Friday night and I can’t switch the channel from QVC…I’ve never watched this before and I don’t know why I can’t turn it off! haha
I keep seeing things and thinking “ooo I need that” or “oooo my mom would love that”…
sad part is I was a advertising and marketing major ;P
anyone else ever get caught up in an infomercial or watching the shopping channel??

My mom used to watch them all the time. I got so bored as a kid! lol. FI’s Fred MEyer is luckily not doing a NM party, but the FM 2 miles down is. lol.

Is your Fiance a manager at a CD/move store too?? He worked 8-5 and then 9-2 today…gross!
I am not sure why I can’t turn this off…I won’t order anything but I totally just stalked the website 😉

I love infomercials! I always write down the info and wait exactly one month to call or go online. It’s amazing how much perspective you gain when you figure out that if you can go one month without it, you will live, LOL!

Those things are like drugs! I try not to watch them. My husband fell asleep already so I’m watching Harry Potter on ABC Family. I really don’t understand the midnight release for a movie. I mean you have already seen the movie, it’s not a surprise! I admit I went to the final midnight release for Harry Potter but that’s different because then I stayed up half the night reading it!

QVC totally sucks me in. It sucked me in to buying Keurig a few months ago.

Sulli: An informercial is how I first discovered Bare Minerals. I was so relieved when it became mainstream – it made my infomerical habit a little less odd. 🙂
MissAsB: I watch HP every time it is on t.v. 🙂

@mighty that is a good idea! I do that too with most of my online stuff 🙂 except the things “I. KNOW.I.MUST.HAVE.NOW.NOW.NOWWW” haha
@MissAsB…I agree, I mean especially because most poeple already signed up for one…it’ll be there tomorrow!
@helstrong…I am ABSOLUTELY sucked in haha

I still haven’t seen New Moon. Haha, I like the books but I had no money to buy a ticket! Don’t know if I can buy it right away either.

Here is a tale of being a young-surkim:
When I was little, the TV speaker had slot-line decorations.
I thought you ordered by swiping a card through the slot-lines, so when my things never showed up, I got upset. 🙁

@misscosmo I used to order Alexis Vogel make up from an informercial in high school…and now I love Bare Minerals and am happy I can get it at Sephora 😉
@MissAsB I haven’t seen or read any of them 🙂
@surkim that is so cute!!!
