Vegas has lots to do! You can go shopping, shows, the casinos themselves are fun to walk around, eating/drinking, the amusement parks will be dead (I dont think the rain will be steady, especially when it just says ‘a few showers’ ).

I’m getting married in Vegas next weekend and it’s also calling for rain. I don’t want to jinx myself, but it’s kind of an odd time of year for two weeks of rain in the desert. I live in Phoenix and we have similar weather. If it does rain it’s typically for short periods of time. You rarely experience a day where it’s drizzling consistently.

I think it depends on how hot you need it to be to be comfortable at the pool. If it isn’t raining it may still be overcast and in the 70’s. I have family coming from Ohio so they consider that pool weather. I wouldn’t. A backup plan would probably be a good idea.

I live just a couple hours north of Vegas, and go there often. Rain is often short spurts, so you’ll likely be fine.

However, I’d skip driving until the pavement dries. Traffic is horrible anyways, and just a little bit of moisture pulls the oil out of the pavement and makes it slick. 🙂

garnet113:  Random question for you!: I clicked on the thread because I am getting married in Vegas. But also I will be moving to Phoenix in a few months and wanted to know if you had any suggestions for places to get dress alterations?
