Any rain boot experts out there?
I bought a pair of cheap-o rain boots last season and did a little bit of walking in them and they gave me blisters on the back of my heels.
So, I’m on the hunt for new rain boots for this season.
I used them when I walk my dog – so, I’ll be doing 2 mile stretches at a time.
Any and all advice is appreciated!

Hunter Boots – they’re great rain boots and really comfortable. They also sell inserts to keep your feet warm, so you can use them for the snow also.

Wellingtons – Wellies! The Brits know their rain boots.
I would rec the ones from L.L.Bean. http://www.llbean.com/llb/shop/506708#/llb/search/?freeText=wellies&init=1&sort_field=Relevance

I was on the hunt for a good pair of rain boots as well. I considered Hunter boots but instead went with a company called Keen. They are fleece-lined and very comfortable!

A comment about Hunter boots. I’ve wanted a pair but I’m super short (5’1″) and the regular ones were too high- trying to inch above my knee and buckling at the ankle, but the shorty ones aren’t the look I want. I ran into a short girl recently wearing regular ones and she told me she buys the children’s (she’s a size 6-7 shoe) and they’re half the price of regulars!!

@caits615: I’m super short as well, I frequently check the kids version of boots because they often come to a better height and will be much less. Higher end brands of things usually the kids/adult versions look exactly the same. I have gotten some really cute flipflops from jcrew kids as well that are much cheaper and free shipping lol
