JAS:  Hm, to me it sounds like a lot of hazzle to switch the day. i’d probably stick with the original date & enjoy a beautiful wedding rain or shine… there was a recent recap by a bride who had rain on her wedding day… but it was still so beauriful.

just some things to think about: would that even work with the logistics to move up a day or back? (will everyone arrive early enough or stay long enough… for example if you had a saturday wedding and i was heading out of hawaii on sunday 8pm, i wouldn’t really get to enjoy the wedding, right?) i would make it dependent on how much hazzle is involved in the logistics. can you really that easily change the day? is your officiant free that day? your food can be catered on another day?

Does your venue have a rainy day back up?

Moving the ceremony day might be difficult as you will have to line up all the vendirs again who may not be available.

<br />You can’t make your guests sit in the rain for your wedding.  What are the travel plans of your guests?  If you move it one day will everyone still be able to be there?
