We had rain – it waited until after the ceremony and photos but we went back outside and took some photos in the rain and had loads of fun. Get some big umbrellas and some wellies in your colours (if you have a colour scheme) and have fun with it!

It rained on our wedding day and during the last of our pictures.  Our photographers moved us under canopies and bridges, which still gave off the impression of being outside.  I, too, wanted outdoor pictures.  I bought a white umbrella from Amazon that made for some cute pictures – http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001IPAXDA/ref=oh_details_o01_s00_i00

I wish I had my pictures back to show you, but the only thing I have so far is my same day photo slideshow.

@futuremrsjobe:  I’m in Indiana too – sorry about all the rain we’re supposed to get! I agree with PP – get some awesome rain boots and umbrellas and have fun with it!

It rained the day before and the morning of our wedding – it was fine. It actually made the weather quite nice! ๐Ÿ™‚

If it’s going to rain quite a bit, I agree with PPs – get some awesomely cute shots and make it work!

Enjoy your wedding – and congratulations!

Rain on a wedding day during a drought year is a blessing! A cousin of mine got married in 1988, during a really terrible drought year, and we were all overjoyed when we finally got rain on the day of her wedding. (We are a farm family).

Enjoy it as best you can, and have a wonderful day!

It rained off and on on our wedding day. We just went with it, and took pictures in the rain with/without umbrellas.

My hair looked absolutely horrible for the reception, the bottom of my dress was covered in mud and you know what? it didn’t ruin my day. The little hiccups in the day make for the best stories!

We ran out and bought umbrellas to match our colors the day before the wedding (the forcast was 30% chance of showers up to the day before, where it got changed to 100%)

Here are a couple favorites…
