We had rain. It cleared up a bit later but my photographer and videographer got some great images though the windows of us getting ready. Plus the moody skies were captured wonderfully by our photographer.

My aunt got married outdoors in the mountains (in the high country of the South Island of New Zealand – notorious for fast changing weather, particularly in autumn when they got married!).   It stopped raining as she got out of the car and their photos are unbelievably beautiful – mountains wreathed with cloud, gorgeous grey skies against the autumn colours and the light was absolutely beautiful.  We had grey skies but no rain for our wedding and I’m glad because of the lovely soft light we got.

Umbrella photos are gorgeous!! Just be careful of your hair in the damp weather. Maybe cover it with a granny scarf between hotel and ceremony!

I saw another bee had posted a while back that she had bought some really cute rain boots to take some pics in if it rained. These other pics the previous bee’s are posting are just beautiful!!
