It’s the holiday season and today at work, I saw $.75 in a ziplock bag taped to the vending machine which said “Random Act of Kindness #26: Get a drink on me. Pass it on.” I didn’t use it but I thought it was really cool. It found out it is actually #26 in tribute to the victims of Sandy Hook Elementary.
Anyone done any random acts of kindness lately? Or seen it?
I would love to start a tradition… Just want to come up with a meaningful/unique idea!

I see random acts of kindness all the time. What I really love is watching children do random acts of kindness. Like the 5th grader who stands and holds the door for the preschooler’s going into the restroom. The students who are always asking if you need help with something. The student who offers to take a senior teacher’s lunch tray back for her. Children who stop and help another child who dropped something pick up their things.
Sometimes all it takes for an act of kindness is to simply be kind. It’s such a beautiful gift that just keeps on giving.
