A lot of us were really shaken up by the sudden and tragic deaths of PennyLainne, her fiance, and their unborn child. I know the situation hit a lot of people (myself included) hard. Many people on the board knew Penny much better than myself, however, I know she had given me some great advice when I was feeling low. Between reading articles posted online and posts from the Hive, it seems as though everyone agrees that PL had a heart of gold, that she would help out anyone.
In honor of PennyLainne, I thought it would be fitting to have a Random Acts of Kindness day in honor of her memory. Anybody who would want to participate, can. We can choose a day and do something kind for someone. I don’t know if we’d want to try to do it ASAP, or on a day that might be meaningful to her…others that know her better than me can definitely help with this. I know a lot of us are struggling with this and want to help in some way…this is something we can do as a supportive online community.
We can share what we’ve done in her honor, or you can keep it private. If you’re interested, please post a reply, and we can try to get something started.
Mods, I’m sorry if I posted this in the wrong area…please feel free to move to a more fitting section if need be.

I don’t know the backstory, but I will keep her family in my thoughts and be sure to practice a random act of kidness today.

I’d like to participate as well.

I would love to participate. If a significant day is coming up soon, that would be great, otherwise any day soon would be lovely.

This is such a wonderful idea. Does anyone know how we can send cards/flowers/donations?

Any day you would like to start? Do we know when her birthday, due date, or wedding day?

This is such a lovely idea. Her tragic death has shown us that life is too precious and we can do everything we can to make it better. I am all in!
