I have a little over a cup of half-and-half sitting in the fridge, leftover from when I made quiche a few days ago. Its still good, but aside from quiche, I don’t know what to use it in! I’m vegetarian, By The Way, but I’m pretty good at adapting meat-based recipes if that’s all you got. Help me use it up, please!

If you make mashed potatoes, put it in there to make them more creamy. I always do this instead of using my 2% milk and oh my goodness, I die at how good they taste.
oruse it in your coffe or tea in the mornings.

Well, if you also have milk and eggs, you could make pudding.
Or use it to make hot chocolate.
I use hnh in scrambled eggs.
Or just drink a LOT of coffee.

Perhaps some kind of veggie chowder, crepes, use it instead of milk in tea, coffee, french toast, scrambled eggs. The only time I use half and half or cream is when I am baking, and that’s not very often.

If you make instant pudding with half and half, it takes five minutes and is extra creamy!

Alfredo!! Make home made alfredo sauce, I will never go back to canned stuff! 🙂

Whenever I have extra of something like that, I just measure out the rest and freeze it for the next time I make the recipe. Just an idea, as it will last and taste just fine the next time you need to bake with it.

Half and half makes DELICIOUS frosting if you have confectioners sugar and unsalted butter lying around.

Oh wow, thank you for all the suggestions! We’re actually not coffee drinkers, and I drink my tea plain. French toast sounds mighty tasty, and we have a lot of random frozen veggies to use up, so soup might be good, too. Hmmm… now I’m hungry!

pasta, frozen veggies, tomato sauce + cream = pasta with veggies in a tomato cream sauce

You might also be able to freeze it into an ice cube tray for later use. I think one cube is around two tablespoons.
