Just curious 🙂 How tall are you? What height do you consider a woman to be tall/short? Are you happy with your height?
I’m 5’7 and I think that’s on the upper end of average. I’d say someone who is 5’3 or shorter is short and someone who is 5’9 and taller is tall. I wouldn’t mind being a couple inches taller 🙂

I’ve only recently started accepting my height. Sometimes it’s hard to find clothes that fit properly or clothes that are long enough, without spending a lot of money on high end stuff. Some things I have to buy in XL but I’m too skinny for them! And my feet are size 13 which doesn’t really exist in women’s sizes. Oh well.

I’m 5’7! I have a teensy short torso and super long legs!
Great for running, TERRIBLE for jeans shopping!

Aww I’m not even on the scale, haha.
I’m 4’10” and very happy with my height. I’ve never wanted to be taller or had any insecurities about it. However, in proportion to my body I have a short torso and long legs – so when I drive I have to sit on a little cushion to see over the dash, yet I can reach the pedals with no problem 😛
I think under 5’5″ is short and over 5’7″ is tall for a woman.

I’m 5’10, 5’11ish. I was self concious about it during high school but now I really don’t care. My SO is 6’3 and all my family is just tall so I dont really notice it too much

@musical-lady: Well I’m glad you’ve started accepting your height! 🙂
I’m not even what other people would consider short (I’m not tall but not short) but for years I felt that I should be taller because I develped so quickly and then stopped growing when everyone else had a growth spurt. Going from always being the tall girl to normal sized really stuck with me for a while.
My brother has really big feet, and I know he has trouble finding shoes that fit. Not sure off the top of my head what his size is but it’s either a 14 or a 15 in men’s shoes, so not easy to find in regular stores. He has had success with looking on the internet and also stores that cater to big & tall guys, but I don’t know how helpful that’d be for females with big feet.

I voted 5’6″ but I’m really around 5’5.5″. I feel like I’m a really average height. I agree that 5’9″+ is tall, but I feel like maybe <5’1″ is short.

4’11. Hate my height. I’d love to be around 5’6.

I’m 5’5″, short in the legs and long in the torso. It makes finding shirts that are long enough difficult. Things that hit model’s hipbones end before my bellybutton and things that cover their butts hit my hipbones. I was so glad when fashion started trending towards longer shirts a couple years back because I can actually find things that fit now.

5’8″. My younger sister is 5’11”. Our mom is 5’4″ and our dad is 6’1″. My husband is 6’2″, so I figure we’re gonna have some relatively tall kids.

5’3″, and I would like to be taller.

@musical-lady: My college roommate was a women’s size 13 in shoes. We found a few stores that actually carry that size of women’s shoes. Nordstoms, Nordstrom Rack, and Payless. For affordable and cute the best was Nordstrom Rack.

Between 5’9″ and 5’10” depending on who is measuring me. I think under 5’4″ is short and over 5’8″ is tall. I’ve loved my height always — except when I was dating. But Fiance is 6’5″….so no problems there. 🙂
