Gardenia reminds me of our wedding. The historical house had gardenias around it but there were also gardenia candles burning throughout the reception that smelled amazing! I bought the same brand candle to remind me of our day 🙂

The smell of rain, when it is first starting to fall…it rained quite a bit on our wedding day, but I LOVE that smell!!!

I actually haven’t smelled it since the wedding, but I think it would be cocoa hull mulch… our weddiing was outdoors, and I mulched everything around the site with it, which made the air smell like a bakery! Several people asked me about it…. basicallly “How did you get it to smell like cookies?”

I bought a perfume just for my wedding day and honeymoon and whenever I wear it it brings me right back. I sometimes spray it just for a mood booster lol.

Roses…. my wedding was filled with real flowers from the front door to the back door. The reception hall looked like the botanical gardens…. so flowers, flowers, and more flowers.

Apple pie considering we gave them out for favors and the whole ballroom smelled like them by the end of the night.

There is a candle that someone randomly gave us along with a wedding gift. We didn’t pick it but it doesn’t smell bad and we burn it all the time. It reminds me of the wedding. That and my sister’s buttercream icing–she made the cake at our house and her icing is so good. We were finding icing everywhere for months after the wedding but it is a happy reminder of a happy day 🙂

Mine is lilys. They were in my bouquet, and the scent was so much stronger than I thought it would be! April has been great for me, since all the grocery stores are selling them!

tropical smells and lavender! i went into a Tommy Bahama about 4 months after my wedding and it was like nostalgia overload! And lavender because our centerpieces had lavender candles in them.

I wore a special perfume for that day only and so whenever I smell that I think of it. I’m tempted to buy a bunch of it up before it gets discontinued 🙂
