I can’t stand snakes, but that’s not too unusual. I have a visceral reaction to even thinking about them. Ugh.
I am also a bit bothered by sloths. I get that they are kind of neat, and even a little cute if you look at them right. But there’s something about the way they move that kind of disturbs me.
And I really, really hate miniature horses. I am a little scared of riding on large horses but I’m not bothered by them, but I hate miniature ones. It’s a totally ridiculous thing but they creep me out.

Fish are really gross. I’m fascinated by deep sea shows on Animal Planet, but if some fish comes up near me in the lake? forget about it!
Worms are the worst though. I haaate worms. Those days when it’s been really rainy and the paths are covered in worms are terrible. I know it’s weird, but I had a bad worm experience when I was little…bit a graham cracker and a worm came out. Super traumatic!

Eerrmmmmmm. People should warn a girl if there are awful creepy crawlys in a post!
Pretty much anything that isnt cute and fuzzy or a bird is on my creepy list. Mammels dont bug me, even rats and mice and such arent bad to me, bats less fond of, but not bad. I can deal with birds as long as they arent flying at my face, there is a place in OkC where you can feed lorikeets and they land on you, that is fun. Otherwise, reptile, insect, fish(touching them, looking at them in a tank is neat) keep them far far away.
My fear of fish is totally irrational too. I grew up a lake rat and got really good at tubing and skiing becaUe I didnt want to be IN the water where I couldnt see the fish. Then when I went snorkling in Isla Mujeras, it was so perfectly clear we could see the fish down on the reef thirty feet own and it was amazing to me, we saw a six foot barracuda like 100 feet away (a distance it could easily have closed and seriosuly injured one of us in quickly!) and I was fine, we swam to a shallow area right over the reef and through a school of harmless zebra fish and I nearly had a full on panic attack because there was no way not to touch them. Btw panic attacks are extra scary when you are breathing through a snorkle!!

Fleas…. they can jump SO high in the air that I just can’t wrap my head around it. I hate it.

I don’t mind any insects, bugs, animals, rodents or anything….EXCEPT for centipedes and creatures that resemble them! And of course, the two pictures posted are horrid! UGH! I have that “creepy, crawly” feeling on my skin now, lol.

- Wedding: September 2014 - Lodge
@figgnewton: Maybe I need to move to Vegas then lol. I remember at this house I was dating a guy and we were talking on the phone. I went to put on some slippers and quickly withdrew my foot and started screaming (like I’m being murdered screaming). One had crawled in there. My then boyfriend was like “WTH! Are you ok? Do I need to call 911?” And when I could finally talk I was like “My foot just touched a centipede! OMG OMG OMG OMG!!!” He says “Seriously? That’s what you’re screaming about?” They are just soooo gross and some get really big.
@chasesgirl: I get what you’re saying about not being able to see fish. I hate lake fish, or any fish that is ugly looking. But I also went snorkeling in Mexico and was perfectly fine looking at and swimming next to tropical fish.

I have been absolutely terrified of spiders my whole life.
Snakes on land don’t bother me, but the thought of a snake in water… gah

@Galang_Gyal: You sound like my sister, lol. She is always befriending bugs.
I don’t mind most bugs, but I dislike spiders, ticks, centipedes, and millipedes. I also don’t like sharks, snakes, scorpions, or bats. Bats are cute (like mice with wings!) and never used to bother me that much, but after a terrifying experience I had with one in my house last summer, they now freak me out.

@GeekChic: Omg finally someone else who doesn’t like hampsters and guinea pigs!
@MissZeppelin: Lol my grandpa had an experience where a bat got in his house…this was back in the early 60s and he’s still freaked out by them to this day!

I am absolutely terrified of orcas/killer whales. I have no idea why, but I’m even afraid to get in the water at the beach because of them.
Spider crickets and bees are also the devil.

Ok I saw Sprickets mentioned a couple times, had no idea what they are. I regret googling. Soooo creepy!!! Not sure we have them here though, thank god!
