Ack! My 4 week old baby was up from 9 pm until 4 am last night. He only went down after some formula (he had been breastfeeding every 45 minutes and I was tapped out) and with me holding him on the couch. It was the only way we could get any sleep. Just want some friendly support or advice! 🙂

Aww! I’m sorry you had such a long night! You’re definitely not alone, and I’ll be there myself in 5-6 months! I hope you get a nap in today!

I remember crying to my Girlfriend with my first daughter and just feeling exhausted after a similar day into night. She reassured me it was normal and probably just a growth spurt and would pass, so to just hang in there. She was right. It will pass for you too,so hang in there and nap when he does!

I know it is so difficult, but my hat is off to you for working sooo hard!! i only breastfeed for 2 week and then formula. That allowed my husband and I to share the feedings. Breastfeeding is sooo much work your a great mom. Oh and you will sleep again!

Oh that is so hard! The best advice I can give is to have your husbad/partner take a few hours so you can get a nap in. It will make a huge difference – even if they have to work, you need a few hours sleep!
We have all been there, and it WILL get better!!
