Ya…I don’t do politics or religion on Facebook anymore.

The thing is, political beliefs are often not logical, so you can’t argue with someone and change their mind. The only way people’s political beliefs change is if they have some personal experience. Coming at someone and telling them why they’re wrong will instantly put them on the defense. Nothing ever comes of it so I try to resist the temptation.

It’s driving me insane. I can’t wait until it’s over and people start posting statuses about their lunch and funny cat memes again.

I just started posting shit like this. And an angry status about how people need to stop saying they’re going to flee the country if candidate X or Y wins the election.

I never post political opinions on facebook. I will only post if asked (like on this forum, if it’s a political topic, I’ll contribute). I always wonder what people think they’re accomplishing through political posts on facebook.

And yeah, the “You’re just bowing out because you have nothing left to argue”…um, no. I’m bowing out because you craaaaazay & no use wasting time arguing someone illogical.
