seriously though, i don’t think it is rude.

a comment saying “ohhhh this sucks!!!!” or “I’m sorry!!” isn’t comforting to me, it means nothing. just like the commenting to follow.

“Seriously, you can’t see the difference? If that is the case then this thread is for you. I’m telling you it’s straight up rude, even if you can’t see it.

So there.”

@FauxBoho:  Hahahahaha! Omg that is awesome, you’re definitely one of my favorite Bees by far Wink

Commenting to follow bolsters post count, whereas subscribing and following do not.

In a community where your post count is as much your identity as your avatar or handle, these kinds of posts become habitual if not against the guidelines.

Rude, yes. But such is the nature of internet forums sometimes.

I thought I missed the memo because I’ve seen it so much lately. I was confused because as I realized how much it was happening I immedetially thought “How lazy are you to not simply subscribe or favorite the topic?” I’ve been using those featues since I started on the Bee three years ago.

I don’t care if its in regard to decor, etiquette, planning etc, but when it comes to people going through emotional issues then I think its SO rude to post this in a thread. It just seems so gossipy to me, like you just want to continue reading the ‘juicy’ story, but not contribute any advice or support.

If it’s rude, then just flag everyone who uses it.  We have a bunch of flag happy users on here anyways…
