I work in an office building thats fairly new, we are on the second floor right next to the elevators. There is a flat screen tv right outside the office that is a directory that tells you which suite everything is-which also corrisponds with the floor number (we are suite 200-second floor.) Every sinlge day I get people coming in to ask me what floor something is on. It drives me bonkers because we are a real business, NOT a directory! I dont remember which specific floor everything is on, so I literally point right next to the door where the tv directory is.. then they will come back & say, where is suite 400? me-well that would be the 4th floor.. -Okay thanks!
& then they will ask what floor we are on. well you parked on the bottom and came up one flight, you can literally see the bottom floor because its open to down there & the railings have glass where you can see everything.
Ugh, then conveniently during all of this the phone will be ringing (which its my repsonsibility to answer it.) & then its like the seconds feel like hours when that phone is ringing & im trying to help people.
Okay thats my mid week rant! is it Friday yet???? 🙁 thanks for reading me complaining. 🙂
