I had a March wedding with ranunculus. They are such a pretty flower! If they can fly them in from another country, know that they’ll cost sufficiently more. There are some garden roses that may look very similar to give you the same look, though. good luck!

I had a September wedding with ranunculus – my first florist said no way and suggested regular roses instead, didn’t even bother suggesting the fluffier garden roses….I was annoyed. Second one had zero issues with getting ranunculus for me…needless to say, I went with her and my ranunculus looked beautiful! I’d go with the florist who is willing to get them for you.

I met with a florist yesterday and we are using ranunculus. She said we couldn’t do peonys but never said ranunculus would be an issue!

I had ranunculus in Septmeber and I am not going to lie, it was an issue. if you want a specific color I would chose a different flower. It really depends on the weather and September is really very early in the season for them. I wanted a specific color and they called a week before the wedding and saif they weren’t available. I used several reputable flower retailers and they all said they had supply issues. I love the flower so I stuck with what I could get, but there were definately issues with them.
