Long time lurker, first time poster. Long story short, I lost my original wedding ring. Before we bought a replacement I started lurking here and on Pricescope to try and figure out what I wanted. Six months and seven rings later (yikes!!!), my husband and I finally settled on this beauty. I’m so happy with it. Just thought I’d share 🙂
Oh, and the top picture is in the low lights at work, bottom pic is under the sparkly lights at the jewelers. Thanks!

I think it’s super pretty and the hue of the sapphire is a nice color without being too much at all. The miligrain scalloped halo look is nice and unique! Makes it look Art Deco-ish!
It’s also very pretty on your hand, congratulations on finding a new ring!

That’s beautiful! I have never seen a sapphire that color before. I’m glad you were able to finally pick a ring that you love!

Thanks for the kind words, everyone! When we decided to buy a replacement I initially wanted a diamond because we could not afford a diamond when we decided to get married (I got engaged with a ring bought on clearance at Macy’s. Husband surprised me on our one year anniversary with a beautiful blue pear cut sapphire which I unfortunately lost in a Walgreens searching frantically for teething tablets. By the time I realized it had slipped off, someone else had snatched it up. Insure your rings, y’all!)
I ordered two different diamond rings from Blue Nile, one from Shane Co, and a moissanite from Evine to see what all the fuss was about before my husband finally said it needed to be a sapphire. That’s when I started considering all the different colors of sapphire. My husband picked this stone because, in his words, it is just like me: beautiful, one of a kind, and always changing (the color goes from hot pink to purple depending on the light). If I’m still beautiful and surprising him after 12 years and 2 babies then we must be doing something right 👍
