My lovely cousin got married in June and her mom made the table numbers. Wooden numbers glued onto wooden bases and painted a soft irredescent sparkly grey. They were used again at my OTHER cousin’s wedding in August! They got shipped out to me and got scuffed up and separated in shipping so a box of wooden pieces showed up at my house for my October 17th wedding!
I was always thinking of changing them up a bit anyways so this was the perfect opportunity!
I glued them back together:
With this as my “Pin-speration” I took a quick trip to Michaels!
I repainted the bases with a darker grey acrylic paint and let those dry and then went to town with Mod Podge and silver glitter!
Final pics! I think they turned out really cute:
I plan to use an acrylic sealer spray to seal in the bases and glitter on the numbers. I left the backs just painted the original lighter grey!

OMG modpodge and glitter give me PTSD flashbacks to preparing for my sister’s baby shower….
But these are adorable!

jillbean1217: I’m hoping the acrylic sealing spray seals in the glitter so I’m not finding it all over for the next 5 years 🙂

MsKnitter: mine are really similar and I used Krylon glitter spray paint and the acrylic spray and all the glitter stayed on.
