I quit my job after getting pregnant! And barring any huge crisises, I’ll be staying out of the work force until our last one goes to Kindergarten!

I’m not worried about my career–I was a preschool teacher! So my career will only be furthered by having my own kids.

I’m going back to work on February 4th. I’m dreading it! I already have such mom guilt about it, I just feel like my baby (who will be 12 weeks) still needs me SO much. It will be nice to get out of the house, but I know I will miss her like crazy. I wish I could be a Stay-At-Home Mom.

@Vitana:  I think the answers will be all over the map depending on the type of work, the length of mat leave and the support available.

I went back to my position as an ER nurse but it was after a one year paid combination of maternity and parenting leave. I also hired a live-in sitter when I went back to work until my youngest was old enough to go to daycare.
