We registered at W&S because they had a few things we really wanted (i.e. their store brand pots and pans, which are awesome). The registering process was easy, the women at the store were super nice, and everything went smoothly… until we needed to return some things (duplicates, etc.) after the wedding. The process took HOURS in the store, plus a week plus to get merchandise cards (because just giving them to you in the store would be too easy) and then when my Darling Husband went to buy some things off the registry after the wedding, they didn’t give him the completion discount! Probably my fault for not going with him, but come. on. Given their prices, you’d expect them to have decent customer service. You’d also think they would want to build lifelong loyalty among the young couples registering there, but that doesn’t seem to be the case. They treat brides/recent brides like you are an overly emotional crazy person (which is only true SOME of the time… and not so much post wedding… haha), which I found really rude.
Our other registries (Kohls, Crate and Barrel) were SO much easier than W&S. I would really encourage brides to think about looking for an alternate place to register– after all, you can find 90% of their stuff at other places!
