So I have 2 readings – different readers, and I also have prayers of the faithful … 6 of them and 2 people are each reading 3.
So how did you work this situation out at the wedding?
How do the readers know when to speak?

We only had two readers aside from the priest. In our wedding, the priest invited each reader to the podium to speak. It was pretty easy.

Oooohhhhh I didn’t think of that. Hmm… I wonder if that’s what will be done at our wedding?

They learn their places from the program you make for them and for the wedding party. Six readers is alot and when there’s alot of anything, that does give room for errors.
Create a quickie program for everybody and give it out as soon as you can so they already are beginning to “know” when their time is to give their readings.

Are yourall of your readers familiar with the Catholic mass order? If not then I would think that they would get an idea of when they will need to read during your rehearsal.
I agree with bellenga that you could make them a program that shows the order of events.

We just went through it during the rehearsal. After the opening blessing, the priest said “Let us hear the Word of God” and the first reader came up. Then the psalm reader. Then the second reader. After the Marian Devotion was done, the reader saying the Prayers of the Faithful came up. We just made sure they knew their order.

Our readings are in the program and we are running thru it in rehearsal. It’s pretty easy.
