Ready. We’re in our 30’s and are feeling the clock ticking. Waiting to actually get married though, so I guess we’ll think about a honeymoon baby.

We’re waiting, although it’s true what other’s have said about feeling like, for the first time ever, if it were to happen-we’d be ok with it.  Our preference is to get our debt paid off by next summer, save up a decent amount in savings, travel a bunch next year and either aim for late 2010 or 2011.

I hope everything’s ok! SKipping a cycle would freak me out if i had one.

We’re waiting…but only until we get news from the doctor next month. If he says do it now, we’re throwing the BC out the window. Ideally, he’ll tell us we can wait until June 2010 to try to conceive as we’d originally planned. But, that’s in a perfect EJS world

Is it bad that we’re giving our fertility specialist final say? lol. Now, 6 months down the road, ah, whatever. I’m so worried I won’t be able to have one I’d rather just have one now!

CC have you taken a preggo test? Or is it too early? I’d assume since you skipped last months’ period and you’re feeling weird, I’d be running to Walgreens asap!

Ohhh boy cc!  Any updates?!  We had a similar scare last month.  I know the feeling.  We inadvertently “pulled the goalie ” (heheh that makes me giggle) due to a refill error with the drug store and yeah…panic!  We do want to travel a bit and settle down before we try.  I dont want to be a nomad jumping from place to place with a baby…especially in NYC (get me outta here!)  So I’d say we’ll give it a go in a year or two

I have baby fever, but part of it is all of our friends, 3 of my sorority sisters and my sister in law are all pregnant and/or just had a baby.  My guy is taking a big test that will determine his future for his career path in October.  If he passes we’ll discuss starting to try for a baby in January 2010.  If he doesn’t we’ll wait until he takes the test again in spring 2010.  My guy wants to feel financially secure before we start baby making. If I had it my way we’d be making a baby on our honeymoon!

Waiting!  We have just moved to a new place, I have no job yet, and want to go back to grad school before we start a family. Just like we enjoyed being engaged for a while, we are going to enjoy being married for a while before starting a family.

Ready! We also have been married for just 2 months so right now we are taking the approach that if it happens then great but we are not really trying per se.  Goalie is out of the game though! : )

Waiting, for roughly 5 years.  I’m hoping to soak up the time as much as possible.  It’s hard when you want to spend your money traveling and living up your twenties, but know you should save for baby time!

Reluctantly waiting. To be fair, we’ve been married a month (today!) and Darling Husband has another year of grad school. We totally agree that we need two salaries before we go the baby route. Of course now Darling Husband is seriously considering applying to a PhD program. My clock is tick, tick, ticking! I don’t have time to wait 6 years (or more) for him to complete a PhD. Maybe we can get student rate childcare…

We are waiting but if it happens it happens! Too much going on with school, house building and hubby starting new career that my head would do a tailspin! We are not waiting too long due to some medical conditions, dont have a huge time frame to do this baby making in! I hope all goes well, just take one day at a time!

Waiting…atleast until we get married 😉 Most likely we will wait about 1 year after we get married. My FH and I both talk about babies all the time but I want to enjoy our marriage for a bit and get moved before we get pregnant. We are also both young (he is 23 and I will be 23 when we get married next june)

DEFINITELY waiting for at least 4 years, maybe even 5.  I’ll be 26 when we get married but I really have no interest in having a baby until I’m 29 or 30…plus, i want to spend some years with FH as a married couple without kids….

Definitely NOT READY!!! I took a test today because I’ve been watching too many of those TLC shows of the girls that didn’t know they were preggers. I’ve gained A LOT of weight since the wedding, so I was worried about what was causing it. Hubby and I were happy to find out I was NOT preggers and just a bit chubby! He agreed to help me out with diet and exercise so I’m not stressing through anymore tests!!!!!!
