So if you hate the ring, you should reject the man you love????????

I really wish the OP would clarify!!! I took this post as her saying if you don’t like your ring, don’t say yes in the first place because it is about the man, not the ring in response to the people on here who complain about not liking their rings…still odd though. I would have said yes no matter what.

@Goodatlove: Think about it…he might not have a ring but he loves you, you turn him down and you might lose him. Then you could find another guy who proposes with a ring, but ends up not being sincere in his proposal and treats you like utter crap once you’re married. I think I’d rather marry a guy who truly cares about me without a ring on my finger than taking the chance of losing him just because I’m selfish and want a ring on my finger, instead of taking into consideration his feelings. It’s as simple as that.

Every girl deserves a nice ring, but every man deserves a loving woman who will take his proposal REGARDLESS of what he has or doesn’t have in his hand when he kneels down.

If you love him and you want to marry him, of course you should say yes. If you’re happy with him and know he’s the one for you, a ring shouldn’t spoil the occassion. We picked my ring together because he was worried I’d hate what he picked, but even if he’d have given me a hula hoop crisp, I still would have said yes. I love my ring – and yes I see bigger and smaller rings out there – but mine is perfect for me and it makes me happy to know I have him. I personally would never, ever upgrade and I know full well he would never let us. The ring has sod all to do with it, in my opinion. If you really hate it, and it’s going to annoy for the rest of your life then you should probably change it. But it certainly shouldn’t make you reconsider saying yes. That’s bollocks. No offence, like.
