That makes no sense. This could really screw you up. I’ve never heard of something like this happening 3 weeks into the semester. You should talk to someone else. I set my own schedule in university (we just enrolled online). I never had any kind of problem like this.

Yea I agree wit throughthebarricades my advisor never told me to add or drop classes I always picked all my own stuff.  In fact I only went to my advisor once my freshman year and twice my senior year, other than that I was able to pick all my own classes based on the course requirements.

We pick our own classes so I’ve never heard of this.  Are there certain requirements/graduation timelines you’re trying to meet?  Or did you commit to a set schedule or set of classes when you enrolled?  I was in a program that had the same people in every class through the week so there were no choices.  Maybe you can speak with another advisor, I wouldn’t be able to deal with someone else determining my schedule like that.
