Mother of the Year right there!

Seriously, how can you look at your innocent child and think ‘oh well, new Darling Husband can’t stand another man’s baby being around, I’ll just get rid of this one’.

That actually sounds  a lot like how my grandma was raised. Her mom died when she was young, after having 13 kids. Grandma was the second-youngest, so when he got remarried, she was sent to an orphanage. She ran away and ended up living with her half-sister, but her brother was raised in it. It’s seriously hard to conceive of doing that to your children :(.

@UpstateCait:  Wow, that’s really sad. It boggles my mind that there are actually people like that in this world.

🙁

@UpstateCait:  Holy shit.  That’s absolutely terrible/heartbreaking.  That poor little boy must have been so confused.  I hope he hasn’t learned the truth and went to a very loving family.  Absolutely disgusting what she did and for the “man” suggesting it.  I wonder what she told everyone when others were wondering where he was.  I can’t imagine how those convos went.

@jo.lee:  Actually, my great grandmother and her sisters were in an orphanage as well when her father re-married.  They eventually came home to their father and step-mother, but I was in shock when I first learned this.

oh my god…. that is just…. so terribly awful i cannot believe it! if i knew that story and that woman ever made a sympathy searching comment i would have a hard time not slapping her in the face.

i am choosing to believe that since he was adopted so quickly and didnt languish in the foster care system that this boy was brought into a way better family and lived a happier life!

and how awful for the grandmother and other family members – to be so blindsided by this and not even have the option to adopt him themselves. And for that little boy to think they all abandoned him – when they were exhausting all options to find him. What a heartbreaking story.

I have no words for that piece of trash of a woman (and YES she is trash for leaving her child because a MAN told her to!).  It makes me sick that she was able to have more kids with this man.  It makes me even sicker that she has the NERVE to play the sympathy card.  People like this don’t deserve to be parents!
