Hi Bees! Sooo, I had my very first experience trying on gowns yesterday (yay!!!!) and I need some help! I’m not yet convinced that I “found the one” yet, but I think I might of fell in love with one (but they’re all so beautiful I just can’t trust my judgment yet until I continue shopping!!!). I tried on a bunch of different styles, but this one trumped them all!!! I just felt happy coming out of the dressing room and was so excited to come home and look it up online only to be disappointed…
I really don’t like the way the dress looks in the model photo – it looks like two very separate dresses, the skirt doesn’t mesh well IMO. But I love the floral portion of the skirt, and I love the other portion of it too, just not sure that I would love it in photos if this is what it looks like in the model photo. But now that I found this dress to look amazing on me and in the store I loved the way the skirt looked, maybe it’s just the model??? What do you guys think and PLEASE post any pictures of any real life photos, I’m dying to see more of this dress!
Oh and I want to get the bow in white, and also maybe buy a crystal/pearl sash to glam it up for the reception (and remove the sequence floral pin at the hip)

IMO, the picture with the model doesn’t do it justice. I probably wouldn’t have tried it on based on that picture alone, but when I put it on I was pleasantly surprised; I bought it! Here’s a pic. I’m a street size 10, wearing a size 12 in the dress.

Awww you look beautiful! (your figure, at least 😉 )!!! Thank you for sharing! The floral part of the skirt looks amazingly better in your picture than the one i tried on in the store looked. Congrats on finding your dress!

I fell in love with the Edinburgh dress when i got engaged. In January I bought it and am now in pocession of it for my wedding in September. I absolutely love it and am so excited to be wearing such a gorgeous unique dress. I am a normal size 12-14 and have bought a 12, it fits like a glove. i am not wearing the belt though and have replaced the beaded pin on the waist with a pin that matches my head peice. As soon as I have the photos from our day I will send one or two in.
I would reccomend any brides to be to buy buy buy this dress
