My bridesmaids will be wearing dresses in that color pallete from Armour Sans Anguish. I was nervous about ordering them since we will not know what they will look like until they are finished but I decided to go for it. I think the dresses are amazing and am so excited now that she has started on them. I haven’t seen any pictures of them on anyone other than models yet, though.

I, too, am thinking about ordering these for my bridesmaids. They look SO wonderful online, but I would love to see them on some real bridesmaids. I find it odd that pictures used in real weddings are so hard to find when the dresses seem to be so amazing.

@cldaughe: That is exactly what I am concerned about. The models are tall and twig like haha. I have 3 bridesmaids and they are all average sized girls. One size 2-4 The other two ladies are   a 6. I have the SAME concerns you do but the dresses are so pretty I think it will be great! Pics will be posted as soon as we get them!! Laughing

@cldaughe:  First of all….I am LOVING your color pallete! The dresses are going to look amazing!

OK so now to the important stuff:

I really wouldn’t worry about the sizes of youe BMs. The measurements she asks for a very specific so I am sure they will look amazing and fit each of your ladies body types.

I placed my order on February 3rd and she has my projected completion date as June 5th. She says that on or before HUne 5th I will receive a picture of the finished dresses and when I approve we pay the remaining balance and she will ship them immediately. I am crossing my fingers that no changes will need to be made so that we can have them the 2nd week of June. So far I haven’t requested any changes. I told her the color palette I wanted and I am happy with the length right above the knee so I did not need any changes.

As far as communication/updates since I paid the deposit…there really hasn’t been any. I had to send her a message a few weeks ago asking for estimated completion date when she replied telling me about the June 5th date. So yes, it is a bit nerve wrecking Undecided

For flowers I am doing something a bit unique. My wedding theme is rustic chic so my ladies are carrying bouquets of wheat and a dried looking white flower. Looks like lavender but its white. I sent my florist a picture of the dresses and she thought that would really tie it all together. I think your idea on the flowers would be ideal. You can’t have a regular rounded bouquet with a dress liket that.

Why does it take you so long to get an email? I think you will have plenty of time, I am assuming she has them ready in a time frame that gives a little wiggle room for alterations but I am nervous just like you. I keep telling myself it will be ok, though!

As soon as I get my picture (in less than a month!!!) I will post it for you to see and hopefully that will ease both of our minds! I can’t wait to see yours either!!

I feel your pain on the measurements!! I have 3 girls and we all live in different states….2 of them took the time to go to a tailor and get measured so I trust their measurements are accurate. The 3rd Bridesmaid or Best Man, however, just watched a you tube video on how to measure and had her boyfriend help. I was horrified when she told me this and almost turned into bridezilla but decided to let it go. If for some reason she did not do it correctly it will be her responsibility to have the dress altered. So I completely get the freaking out on the size and measurements!

My wedding is actually August 18…I keep forgetting to update it from my original date still I think I will have plenty of time. Hopefully she will get finished with yours early so you can put your mind at ease.

What are your groom and Groomsmen wearing? Mine are wearing tan suits and I am praying it looks ok. It is so hard doing all this with no actual dress and material in hand to reference!! ahhhhh ok I am freaking myself out now.

Wheat would look amazing with your color scheme. Best of all it is inexpensive!!

So update! I received an email from Lily the other day and as soon as I saw it I was overwhelmed with excited because I thought it was going to be my final picture. Welllll I was very displeased when I saw that it was a message letting me know that she is running behind and I won’t have my picture until late June! I am kind of upset because I wanted to give my girls there dresses when we were all together at my Bach party the last weekend of June. This is now probably going to be impossible so I won’t get to see them in the dresses in person until the wedding.

Hopefully they catch up and I can get them sooner but I just don’t know. Cry

I will be sure to let you know as soon as I have the pic though!
