I bought the Pronovias Gaudi in Chicago after my sister was literally speechless when I tried it on (and told me she had goosebumps when she saw me).
But when I returned home to Phoenix and saw the pics on the Pronovias website I didn’t love it on the model. I still like the dress and am excited about it, but was wondering if anyone has a picture of themselves in it? That’s way more helpful than what it looks like on a model!
I’m planning to add a flower to the lower right hand side right where the bodice transitions to the ruffles.

I also bought the Pronovias Gaudi and got the same reaction from everyone in the store when I tried it on. I am so in love with her and knew right away that she was the dress. I added a large brouch made out of feathers and Swarovski to the left side at the top of the dress. I wasn’t too in love with the picture of the model but it looks totally different on me than the model. I do not have any pictures of me in it but I have my first fitting in a couple of weeks and will post some then.

Here you go! I loved it on the model (ha) and then on myself when I hunted it down. 🙂 So cool to find other Gaudi brides!

This is the store model which was too big in the hips/thighs but I still loved it. I’ve now had alterations and it looks AWESOME. 🙂 Great choice (I’m not biased, not one bit :P)! Be sure to post pics when you can – sorry I don’t have more!

@angiegonzo: Hi! I’m thinking of getting the Gaudi too. I’m wondering if you’ve found it easy to move in. It’s difficult to tell be for the alterations. I want to be able to dance though. Let me know what you find! 🙂

Ha, I just realized I started this thread but didn’t actually upload any pictures of myself in the dress!
What shoes/jewelry/hairpieces are you guys wearing? Mine shoes are these Badgley Mischka’s (My colors are champagne gold and blush pink so they work in both of those colors).
@chocbride2be- would love to see it with that brooch! Very neat. I love feathers and plan to wear a headpiece with feathers in it.

So exciting!! I am also wearing the Gaudi for my wedding- in just 12 weeks! I fell in love with it in a magazine and the second I put it on my bridesmaids started to tear up. Here are a few pics of me in the sample (size 10 and clipped). My dress is due to come in August 15th- can’t wait to try it on in my own size. I love those shoes, angiegonzo! Mine are kind of similar by Nina, and I found great earrings at J. Crew.
Also- for any Gaudi loving brides looking to save some money- I will be selling my gown once I’m back from my honeymoon in mid-November;
It’s a size 4 (34.5 bust, 26 waist, 37 hips) and it will be bustled and hemmed to 5′ 8″ with heels. email me if interested. katyquita at gmail dot com

Here are my shoes, and the Infinity earrings by J. Crew. I also got the matching bracelet~ can’t wait to wear it all.
How are you guys thinking of wearing your hair? I found a great picture of Carrie Underwood with a curled, elegant, side-ponytail that I’m going to ask my hairdresser to recreate.

It helps so much to see all the real brides wearing this gown – so gorgeous on everyone!
I ordered a Pronovias Gaudi gown and will be going in for my first fitting in December. I selected the “custom” fit so that the mermaid shape looks proportional on my 5’4 body. Did anyone else opt for this and find it to be helpful? Thanks!

Well, I adore my wedding dress and want to wear it again and again. It was the third dress I tried on and I loved the dress as is, but really wanted a sweetheart neckline. So, I worked with the seamstress at the bridal store and she made the alterations I had in mind. I also added a rhinestone belt to the front. The dress ended up being a dream come true.

I love the band that you put on the Gaudi. Looks Fab.
I just purchased this dress in Australia. But bought in on line at bridalgown.net, authentic gown and cost me 2 grand less than in the bridal store.

@daniellido: I love what you did with the dress! I purchased Gaudi as well. I LOVE the neckline but I’m just afraid that if it cuts me too close at the neck and makes me look like I dont have one lol, I may need to make it a sweet heart neck line too. We’ll see how it looks first!
I also changed the ruffles of the dress to the “Galante” style, so it should look like this… The dress is coming in any day so I’ll post more pics when it comes in.
and the back like this…
