I just had to do a recap of my Bachelorette Party thrown by my friends because the theme was so awesome – RHONJ!!! (I hope this doesn’t offend anyone from Jersey!)
My 2 wonderful bridesmaids requested that everyone dress in Jersey attire and come to the “Brownstone” (aka – my friend’s house). Upon entering, guests could freshen-up at the “Jersification Station” which had hairspray, bump-its, fake eyelashes, bronzer, etc, and choose a fortune from “Grandma Wrinkles” (Dina’s cat). Songs from other housewives (Tardy for the Party, etc.) and Jersey shore people were playing in the background. Games included “Pin the Weave on Danielle” (self-explanatory?), “Bubbies Toss” (flesh-colored water balloon toss), RHONJ trivia, & voting on best Jersey-dressed, and my friends made a bunch of Italian food, courtesy of Teresa’s Skinny Italian cookbook! The signature drink was a “Strawberry Stripper”. We are a little obsessed with theme parties 🙂

Hahahaha. I absolutely LOVE it. 😉
I can’t stop laughing at pin the weave on Danielle. Priceless.

It’s pretty sad and insulting that they’ve (RHONJ) painted the whole state as being like them, but I’m glad you had fun with it. I know NObody that dresses or acts like that group! 🙁

@ItWasntMe: So true! I know lots of people from there and none are like those characters…It’s just entertaining!

Wow! That’s real dedication to the theme! Love, love, love it!

Hahaha, I love this!
I’m hoping you guys had some fist pumping music in the backgroud, and maybe a strobe light or two. That’s pretty essential for a Jersey party.
I’m from Jersey, and I’m no way like this, but I have been to places that have Jersey Shore/RHONJ type people. They love who they are, so I don’t think there’s anything wrong in celebrating that. 🙂
