What is your “real job” right now, and tell us what is your “dream job”!
My real job =
Cleaning commercial buidings in the early mornings approximate hours – 3:00 am to 7:00 am
I am doing this now because it’s high pay for a little bit of time each day
My dream job =
creating stationery from my computer for clients (flyers, booklets, invitations)
Too many people are doing this already, and some people can do their own. Will never earn a living.

@happyface: Give your dream job a try! You never know how it could work out. Maybe you wouldn’t get enough work to make it full time, but surely part time alongside the cleaning role is better than never?
I’m currently on the job hunt trying to make my dream happen so I’ll replace real job with last job.
Broker collections for a major British insurance corporation. I got into the role through temping after my dream of working in the media left me chronically underemployed. Nice people but not where I wanted to end up.
My dream for a long time has been to work in film development, evaluating potential scripts for production companies or studios. I’ve had some internship experience in this field but not enough paid experience to make a living. I’d love to evaluate scripts on the side though if I get an opportunity.
I think being a literary agent would be a fantastic job as well, discovering new writers and helping their projects get into the right hands.
My realistic dream job is working in marketing or PR for an exciting company. I am determined to make this happen.

@gnarlygnome: Give your dream job a try! You never know how it could work out.
Yes, maybe I should try it out, even if I get few jobs a month, better to do a little than to dream about it and never trying!
