Real Job: Pediatric nurse (currently out of work with an injury since December, ugh!)
Dream Job: CRNA (Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist)
Real job: Program assistant in a master’s program at a top university.
Dream job: Working in education advocacy or policy analysis.
Real Job: Lab manager/research assistant at an anxiety disorders clinic.
Dream Job: PhD (starting it this August!) in Med Psych, working on research with chronic pain patients and the physiology/psychology interactions of their disease.
Real Job: Teaching 4 year old preschool to little hellions (I love kids, I just got the record-worst behaved class, several kids have disorders/ issues and it is just me with 12 of them 🙁 )
Dream job: Owning a pottery studio, outdoor firings. Or being a fishing guide. Or Wildlife Biologist (I have done it and I love it, but technically do not have the right degree….) Or owning a dog kennel/ training/ breeding.
Real job: Clerk with the Navy reserves. Part-time n ow and full time in two weeks. Hate it.
Dream Job: Hairstylist. Starting school in September!
I’m a journalist at a community newspaper in real life, but my dream job is to be able to write from home… blogging, freelancing, whatever!
Real Job: Part Time Wellness Nurse/Part Time Non-Medical Caregiver
Dream Career: Pediatric Nurse Practioner (I’m a BSN and MSN away from this goal, gonna take awhile)
Real Job : Administrative Assistant. The people I work with are great but it is not very challenging, can get boring, I wish the pay was better, and is no where close to my major.
Dream job : Something involving travel. Travel agent maybe? My major was French, and I don’t know what my dream job is.
Real job – High school English teacher. It’s good when I’m teaching a class full of nice kids, but that rarely happens! In reality, I’m constantly bouncing from contract to contract and I’m sick of it! I love teaching my subject, but I don’t like dealing with behaviour management issues.
Dream job – Editor. I have a degree in English, but editing is a really hard line of work to get into. Also…anything to do with animals.
Real job: English teacher in Japan/ working toward my MEd
Dream job: Work in education policy. I HATE the fact that around the world children’s education gets thrown under the boss because politicians control education, yet know jack about effective education policy.
Real job: part time CSA at Lowe’s
Dream Job: Billing and coding. (yes Im weird and like dealing with insurance companies)
Real job: sales associate @ Macy’s
Dream job: I love selling crystal and china, so something with that would be cool, though I’m not sure what. I’ve also been considering going into Human Resources. I have a teaching degree, but I just don’t think it’s for me anymore. More school requires more money, though 🙁
