I don’t think it is tacky at all. I think you should wear what you think looks best with what you are wearing. I haven’t decided what I will be wearing for jewelry yet, but I am leaning toward pearl earrings and a pearl necklace. I already own them, so I won’t be out any money.

I picked 2 even though my jewlery wont ACTUALLY be Ann Taylor.  I’ll likely get some faux pieces, but I’m not going to get them from a bridal store.  I’m doing this since I’m pretty sure I want my jewlery to be some what elaborate (my dress is realitively simple/classic).  I do have real jewlery that I wear for every day, but I dont’ think it is ‘blingy’ enough for the wedding.  I’d love real stuff, but its out of the budget!

I don’t think there is anything wrong with it. I would if I didn’t have family pearls to wear.

I think I’ll end up buying my jewlery from Anthropologie – expensive but so cute! Something I can wear again though!

My earrings are my mom’s, so even though they’re costume jewelry, they’re priceless to me.  I’m also wearing a bracelet I got from Etsy (it’s fake obviously lol).

My parents recently bought me a pearl necklace and earrings to match to wear on the day =) If it weren’t for them though, I’d may have borrowed something from my rich auntie (she has GORGEOUS jewellery).

I’m wearing real pearls, but I got them on the cheap… sale at Macy’s! They were less than some faux pearls are 🙂

I’m undecided on what I’ll be wearing. If I wear something I already have it will probably be my (real) pearls, but if I end up buying something it will definitely be fake! I’m too cheap to buy myself real jewelry 🙂

Whatever looks best. If you think the pictures will look bad or you can tell its fake jewlery, try having your bridal portraits takn with the fake jewels you like and see how they look!

I dont think it matters what you wear as long as youre happy with it. I was originally going to do real diamonds and pearls because I wanted them to become heirloom pieces and pass them onto my children and so on…buuuuut them my budget got a teensy bit out of control so we’re having to cut out the real jewelry. O well, theres always anniversaries and things and plus, you can really never tell!

I choose Other because my jewelery is custom made jewelery from an etsy seller. It does contain a real pearl in the necklace and real pearl disks, but its not gold/silver/platinum/etc. type metal. I do love it a lot though!

EDIT: The necklace looks much like the earrings, but instead of the bird and flower, it has a pearl flower bud hanging from the main flower.
