I’m not a fan of wearing anything fake on the wedding day.  I woke my grandmother’s pearl necklace, my 11mm pearl stud earrings (my fav earrings that I wear almost daily since I bought them 6 months ago), one of my mother’s diamond and platinum bracelets and another diamond and platinum ring for my right hand.

I think that what you wear doesn’t have to be real but I’d rather if it was good quality. I wanted statement earrings so real diamonds were clearly out. I went on etsy and found a jeweler who makes hand-made swarovski crystal earrings of heirloom quality. I love them because they’re beautiful and big, definitely not $30 cheapies (I paid $120), and I think they’ll be just as beautiful in 30 years.

I won’t be wearing a necklace or any other rings, but I may want to wear a bracelet. If I do it will probably either be my white gold and gemstone bracelet that is a family heirloom or I’ll pick up another piece of nicer costume jewelry.
