@vorpalette:  It’s “crass and snobby” to jump to the conclusion that a clear stone worn on the left hand is a diamond?

C’mon now. That’s just silly and needlessly defensive.

I’m all for couples choosing whatever works for them, their preferences, their budget. If you love it, rock it.  Diamonds, other natural gemstones, moissy, CZ, whatever. I don’t feel that diamond wearers are superior people any more than I feel like those with larger stones are superior.

That said, if you choose a lab created stone over a natural stone, its disingenuous and silly to have a chip on your shoulder about it or get bent out of shape if someone dares to note the reality that a lab created stone is not a natural stone or that to many people, a natural stone mined from the earth has more intrinsic value than one mass produced in a lab.

It’s a lovely ring OP. In some shots, it looks like a white sapphire, in others a CZ and in others, a diamond that needs cleaning so I’m really no help at all. Regardless of whatever stone it is though, it was a very sweet gesture on her part. How come I don’t have any sweet older women in my life to do the same? ๐Ÿ˜›

@RenoSweeney24:  I hope I am not the only one who finishes that with “Gooble Gobble”. >.<

@LynnSnow:  LOLOLOLOLOL

You know I had heard the “one of us” thing before, but never the gooble gobble part until a couple months ago when my fiance did that.

Due to the ruckus, I forgot to comment on the item in question…lol. I have quite a bit of older pieces that are not marked or no longer marked due to age, sizings, etc… I think it looks real because  a CZ would be crystal clear and perfect. That one is visibly challenged like an I1, I2, etc… It’s a gorgeous ring at any rate and I’m sure you will treasure it for the gift it was. Sounds like it meant a lot to her.

@Mamalk85:  It’s pretty!  I’m curious to see what it is!!  How is it when you wear it, it looks like it sits  up so high!  Does it get caught on things?  I have a lower profile setting and I hit it a lot so I have always wondered how it is wearing such a high setting.
