smilestorm:  Our nieces wore flower crowns of baby’s breath and they help up good. From pictures I’ve seen of other brides wearing real flower crowns they seemed to look really good in all the photos and held up well. Personally I prefer the look of real to fake flowers.

We made floral wreaths for my mom and our flower girl (only the grandmas wanted corsages, everyone else asked if they could wear flowers in their hair) the night before our wedding. They held up MUCH BETTER than I had anticipated! We wholesaled the flowers for our centerpieces and then took flowers from them (the flowers had already been put into the bud vases) along with greenery for the wreaths. We used larkspur, delphinium, and bachelors buttons, along with ming fern greenery. I bought the floral glue that the florist recommended and it was pretty easy! My MOH and MIL also attached flowers to headbands, as they didn’t want full wreaths. We stored the wreaths in the fridge overnight inside Ziplock bags, and took them out around 10 the next morning. The flowers weren’t at their best at the end of the day (all outside, in 92 degree heat), but they held up admirably!
