My FI’s brother just renewed his vows and they had beautiful plastic plates, I loved them! I want to find some for my wedding too, I don’t think it matters if it’s real or not.

There are some really nice disposable utensils and plates that look almost like the non-disposable kind, so I’d go with those for cost and convenience.

We had to provide everything for our venue and went with really nice plastic plates and utensils that we got from Costco. I got nice plastic champagne flutes from Amazon.

October2015Bride:  We had an outdoor wedding, and opted to use the plastic that looks real. They were totally fine, and was a huge benefit becuase our outdoor venue obviuosly didn’t have a catering kitchen for rinse off before re-stacking plates had we opted to rent them.
