Gorgeous dress!  You will look so pretty in that!  Don’t doubt yourself.. you fell in love with it for a reason!

Here is mine… I’m a street size 14 and my gown is a size 14 as well.  It’s the original Belle dress from the Alfred Angelo Disney Princess Collection.

I know how hard it is to picture a dress when it doesn’t fit properly pretty much every dress I tried on didn’t fit. I am working toward being a size 12 bridal so that I can properly try on the samples.

Here is me in the dress I will be buying the sample was a 12 , the lovely constultant was holding the back closed for me so I could get a better idea of fit.

Once it is in your size and properly altered, it will look fabulous (and I love your curly hair!!)

I’m a street size 16. Here is my 18W Alfred Angelo Private Collection:

It’s a beautiful dress and you’ll look gorgeous in it! 🙂  I love the beading detail on it.

I’m about a 20 in jeans.  The dress was originally a size 18- but since was so long between buying and actually getting married it needed a bit of alterations

I know hard it is to imagine a dress that doesn’t fit quite right.

I’m in NZ so different sizing, but I’m normally a 16-18 and the dress I finally settled on was a size 8 sample, so I had to put a lot of faith in my imagination. It came in a couple of weeks ago and fits perfectly. I’m so happy I went with my gut feeling.

I think it will look good! If you feel more comfortable with sleeves go for it. I like how the stretchy ones feel and look. I feel self conscious about my arms too. I’ve been  secretly lifting way more weights than I normally do to try to tone up.  But one of my arms has a farmer tan from driving with my arm out the window

This is me on my wedding day (July 2014) in one of my pro shots.  I’m a street size 16/18, dress was a sz 20.  Maggie Sottero Grace in Champange.  Don’t believe the myth that a strapless dress isn’t flattering for the plus size bride.  I found the opposite to be true! I found champange to be the perfect shade for my fair skin.

sway0060:  I love that dress on you! In the end I found my dress on craigslist, seems to be more dresses to try on for plus sizes that way.  I wasn’t happy in the boutique because they did have much in my size.  Suggestion – google the dresses you try on and find a pic of a real bride in the dress with a similar body type to yours.  I did this and it helped me get a better idea of what the dress would look like on me.

i think your dress will look beautiful once in your size. i ordered mine without being able to try it on. i think the sample size was an 8…. ya my dress i ordered was a 26, so no way was i going to be able to actually put it on lol. but i did get to try on a sample dress of another one of the designers that was close to the same style so that helped ease my decisionthis was the sample casablanca 1934 (if i remember right) and my dress was the casablanca 1900. i cant wait to see what it looks like in the correct size for you, i can already tell it is the perfect shape for you

Yes buy it , it a beautiful dress . And I echo a pp who loved your lovely long  curly hair. Are you going to wear it  in an updo?  That would  look  amazing   and  add height ,  plus not  detract  from  the gorgeous beadwork on the bodice /
