hekategoddess:  The Real Touch (The actual good kind) can be just as expensive as real flowers. It’s kind of crazy!!! That being said, I agree with her and intend to do the same thing. If I’m spending money on something, I certainly don’t want it to be something I’ll throw straight in the trash!!! IMO, the roses are definitely the most realistic looking ones. They can get them in different phases and some even look kind of “wilty” (not bad enough to look awful, but just helps them look more realistic). Unfortunately, I just don’t see roses fitting in my bouquet theme. ๐Ÿ™

I suggest going to craft stores and at least getting a feel for them. Tell her to look at them, touch them, compare them. There are different levels of Real/True touch flowers. There are some that look completely fake and are a mix of silk and Real Touch, then there are the completely realistic feeling ones. I was surprised by that. I went to Hobby Lobby. They look just like real flowers, so they photograph the same. She can then have the store order in bulk, if they don’t have what she needs and they have them shipped there!!! ๐Ÿ™‚ …. Me, I’m still holding out hope that Angel’s Accents reopens their online store in time for my wedding. I’ve fallen in love with them and they even add a scent to theirs!!! She won’t have a problem finding white, though.

Try http://afloral.com or http://flowers-by-design.com

afloral just updated a bunch of their flowers. You can order samples and test them out, as well. ๐Ÿ™‚

xstitchbride425:  so beautiful!!!!!

hekategoddess:  Will do!!! Yeah, I’m stuck on the lilies and trying to incorporate roses. I loooove the roses!!! I’m pretty sure soft touch/true touch/floramatique/real touch are all interchangeable. People just use different names for the same thing. ๐Ÿ™‚

Here is my Picasso Lily Bouquet. They look and feel like real flowers. Since Darling Husband and I are planning a vow renewal trip for just the two of us, I included two dragonflies with birthstone colors (February – Amethyst – Purple and November – Citrine – Orange) to represent our two boys. I am going to make Darling Husband a boutonniere also. His will be wrapped in white with a thin teal ribbon. I will post a pic when it is done.

Mine turned out amazing!  I hired a designer on etsy to make them.
