Hi Ladies! A few days ago a thread was up regarding fake/knock off Wondfo’s. I realized I have been purchasing the knock off ones (they have a green handle on the stick when its supposed to be blue, and the front of the package says “LH” instead of “Wondfo”). Anyway, I decided to try a new seller, and although there are only 5 reviews, these ARE the real deal! Just received them today and they in fact are the blue handle with the word “Wondfo” on the front. Just thought I’d share to help those avoid the same frustrations! Although the “fake” Wondfo’s worked for me the two cycles I used them, I would prefer to get what I am paying for.

Check the expiration dates! I recieved my real ones yesterday, but as soon as I opened them I noticed the OPKs expire in October and the pregnacy tests expire in August. I know I am not going through that many tests in that short of time so I returned them as defective.

I also ordered the fake ones. Just got in the real ones. I love them, I don’t feel like I’m wasting a ton of money when I get a urge to POAS! lol

I’m confused about this whole real/counterfeit thing? Mine have green handles, and the package looks completely different than one I saw on another thread. There’s no tear drop thing at all… but it says Wondfo on it. I am Canadian and got them off Amazon.ca – I can’t remember the seller. But I’ve been using them since the end of January and so far they seem to work – I am always getting darker lines around day 14-16

MrsPhilly: I have seen that packaging before as well…I’m no expert but I’d say thats not a knock off. My fake ones didn’t have the words Wondfo at all. I know Wondfo makes a few different versions of their OPK, so I’m assuming some may have different color handles. I say if they are working for you—thats all that really matters!

MrsPhilly: Is that an OPK or a pregnancy test? I ordered the OPK + HCG combo pack and that’s what the HCG packaging looked like with mine. I know the OPKs that I got in my pack were “fake” (although I suspect that really, they are from Wondfo China, rather than Wondfo USA), so I assume that the HCG tests are fake too.
If you check out the Wondfo USA website, it shows you exactly what the packaging and tests should look like and lists valid Amazon sellers (click through to the product page for more details):

Keep in mind that the link will always link to the opks but actual sellers selling them change as orders are placed. So you may have gotten a good batch but someone ordering later may get a different seller and batch as well.

I think they are counterfeit actually… There’s another thread about this issue and a Bee posted an article issued by Wondfo including the contact details. Today I emailed them to ask about a list of authorized sellers for the Amazon.ca rather than .com and I attached a photo to ask if he was able to confirm. I couldn’t find any record of my order on Amazon.ca which is weird… so I couldn’t tell him the seller. But he said from the packaging he’d have to say counterfeit as their packaging has that tear drop look.
Oh well… these seem to be working nonetheless. AgileK9, they’re OPK’s – so far I’ve consistently been getting dark lines on tests around day 14-16 so it’s working. I bought some digitals today though to use this month alongside these to be sure!
