WannaBee2BridalBee:  We followed Dan Savage’s advice to “f**k first”. We bought two nights of our suite, so we went there after the rehearsal dinner. I stayed pretty sober and drove us. We flirted with the idea for a second, and passed out instead. 3 hours later the loudest fire alarm I’ve ever heard went off. We staggered to the lobby and got no real explanation.

We both woke up together the morning of the wedding in our beautiful suite and immediately got it on. We were sadly interrupted by the room service I’d ordered, but it was wonderful. It was a perfect way to start the day, and took the pressure off the evening. That night we also thought about it, but after the bobby pins/extensions removal, we cuddled up on the bed, too high from all the emotions, and actually talked for almost two hours, reliving the day and sharing the best parts. It felt like a storybook. We had a late casual brunch set up for the next day, so we also had fun the next morning. Besides, we didn’t get home until midnight, so technically it was the next day anyways ๐Ÿ˜‰

I called it a night at about 2am, the reception ended at midnight but we all just stayed in the hotel bar chatting. My sister came to our room with me and helped me get out of my dress, then I had a quick shower to get rid of all the hairspray, I hate the stuff! Didn’t want to use the hairdryer at that time of night so I went to bed with wet hair! New husband came to bed at 5am, then we were up at about 8 to get breakfast, so neither of us got a great night’s sleep but not for the usual wedding night reasons!

We were pretty tired, but it was important to both of us to honour the tradition of ‘consumating the marriage’. We had the laziest, most half-assed sex we’d ever had in our whole relationship. It lasted maybe 10 minutes. After that we chatted in bed for maybe half an hour, then passed out.

SO romantic :-p

It’s not funny, but we seriously passed out in the hotel bed with our 3 year old. I was on my period and running on 3 hours of sleep. My husband could barely walk because he wore his brother’s shoes that were too small for him. There were no fireworks or magic except for what Disneyland provided us. Lol.

So….we were actually the virgins who had sex on our wedding night.  ๐Ÿ˜‰  We weren’t going to because we were both exhausted, however once we got into it, we were like “what the hell!” and there you go.  Husband is…errrr…well endowed so I was surprised at how little it hurt.  I just asked him to go slow and take his time which he did.  Dude knows how to listen!  We are still working on maintaining a healthy sex life, and practicing regularly.  ๐Ÿ˜‰

The next morning is the funny part…so my brother’s job was to get my suitcase — with ALL of my clothes including underwear and clothes for brunch the next day — into my husband’s car as that was headed to the hotel.  Well…he forgot it.  So there I was, the morning after our wedding, with no clothes but my wedding dress.  No clean underwear, not even a t-shirt and pajama shorts!  So…I sent my new husband out to Target at 9 am to buy me some pants.  I could wear one of his t-shirts, but I couldn’t leave the hotel without pants on!  So he gets me pants and also picks up me a nice big coffee because he’s awesome.  ๐Ÿ™‚  And the pants are THE TINIEST RUNNING TIGHTS IN THE HISTORY OF THE WORLD.  Poor guy went to the clearance rack and got the first thing he saw that resembled pants.  They were ridiculous…covered what needed to be covered, but didn’t leave much to the imagination.  So I wear these tighter-than-hell pants/tights out of the hotel.  Can anyone say “walk of shame outfit”????

Needless to say it’s one of my favorite stories from our wedding.  ๐Ÿ™‚

WannaBee2BridalBee:  He’s planning on getting drunk at your wedding? He can’t do that the weekend before with his friends?

I had a really bad migraine and was soo tired so we both just went straight to bed. It took ages to get my dress un done and I had a million pins in my hair so by the time I was ready for bed I went straight to bed! The next morning I had a full on migraine and was really tired and starving so we left the hotel room, drove home and tried to call in at mcdonalds drive through for breakfast but just missed the breakfast time so I think I literally cried hahaha. We didn’t do the deed until Monday after the wedding. We left for our honeymoon on the Tuesday and got married on the Saturday.
