snowball18:  First of all, big hug to you.  Second of all, I didn’t meet my love until age 34, but that was after I moved out of a big city and to somewhere where there are more people serious about settling down.

There’s a German expression: “There is a lid for every pot.” Keep your heart open.

Sounds to me like you need a dating break.  If things are getting to the point where you are wondering if there is no partner for you at age 26 (still young!)…it’s time to take a break completely.  Don’t go on Tinder.  Don’t go out with anyone for a few months.  Focus on you and spend time working on your hobbies and being the best person you can be. It can feel like people all around you are getting married and settling down like crazy, but that isn’t the case!  There are plenty of people who do not find the person they are meant to be with until their 30’s or even 40’s and 50’s.

I’m also 26, and girl, we are young! Even if I were single, I wouldn’t be panicking yet. You have plenty of time. And there are a ton of genuinely nice guys out there, you just have to give the right guy a chance.
