@IUrebekah3RT:  alterations can take it in and up and anything else!  Your wedding is in june? You have plenty of time. Find a good tailor and you’ll be fine 🙂

@IUrebekah3RT:  Oh no I was for sure you’d love it. How tall are u? It’s longer on you than me….. I’m only 5’5″ thou.

The fabric looks different than the fabric on mine too… But maybe bc it’s too big for you?

@IUrebekah3RT:  Maybe altering it will help it lay differently. The top is gorgeous thou isn’t it? I loved the bling top!

I’m sure alterations could fix it! Why don’t you take it by a seamstress/tailor and ask them what they suggest?

@IUrebekah3RT:  If its a zip up back it can be altered, and a good steaming or light pressing should cure the way the fabric lays 🙂 don’t despair!!!

A good tailor/seamstress can do wonders for a dress.  My rehearsal dinner dress was also too big.  I paid over $200 for my dress and alterations was over $100 (even with a discount because I had one of my wedding dresses altered at the same shop).

@IUrebekah3RT:  I think you can do way better! I assume you want to have a WOW dress, right? And you have a great figure but somehow this dress does not look that flattering on you. I think it’s not only the size issue- for some reason the proportions seem to be off – and I assume that’s why the fabric looks odd AND the dress has an odd length. And I remember your awesome hourglass figure from your wedding dress posts – but look at this picture- what does that dress do to a perfect hourglass- I think now you look more pear shaped (again not because of your body it’s just that the proportions of that dress are off). I bet you look way better in most other dresses and I am sure you’ll find many WOW dresses at that price range and with your figure!

This dress looks AWESOME on you. It looks pretty simple to alter too. I think you’ll be fine!! Don’t worry about it! =)

I think the dress looks lovely. It doesn’t look ill fitting at all, or is it supposed to be super tight?

@IUrebekah3RT:  I think it’s a beautiful dress! Who makes it? I think it needs to be taken in so that it is more fitted to your body. I think the length is okay and that having it taken in will make it look better. But if you are like me and prefer shorter dresses in general, I would as your seamstress is she can shorten it an inch or so.
