Have you done a search here on WeddingBee for non-floral centerpieces? You will get lots of ideas.

We’re doing half & half. Half will have a vase with hydrangeas surrounded by silver tealight holders (with candles in them). The other half will probably be something like this, I’m still trying to work out the details:

I couldnt justify the money for flower centerpieces (not to mention im not a fan!) so we went with a three pronged version of this:

Ours are hired (was going to cost $52 each to buy or $35 each to hire including set up) but if I had brought them I would keep them and sell them myself once it was done.

No flowers for us either, couldn’t justify the cost for something that’s just gonna die.

Bought them off ebay for like $20/each. Currently in the process of selling them off little by little to get our money back.

@Miltie:  It wouldn’t be very classy to auction off the centerpieces at a wedding. Some couples do give away their centerpieces to someone at each table. There are many ways of doing hat.

If you want to recoup some of your cost, you can sell them after the wedding on Ebay or Craigslist.
